Roy Lyford-Pike
Roy Lyford-Pike is an associate in the Washington, D.C. Region office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He helps clients not only in litigation, but also through regulatory compliance and general advice and counsel. He is a native Spanish speaker and immigrant from Uruguay.
During undergraduate school, Roy was a member of the College Park Scholars program. He then spent several years working for the Office of the Mayor of Baltimore City and the Maryland State Senate before attending law school. While in law school, he was on the board of directors of the Latino Law Student Association and interned with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Fraud Section, the State’s Attorney’s Office of Baltimore City, the Baltimore City Department of Law, and Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter’s office in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis in early 2023, Roy spent most of his career at a smaller firm in the D.C. suburbs where he practiced the full range of employment law, with a heavy emphasis on wage and hour matters in the local Hispanic community. He has successful jury trial experience in state and federal courts. Roy advises his current clients in English and Spanish as needed.
In his free time, Roy is an avid motorcyclist and water polo player.
