Jackson Lewis Recognized for "Tipping the Scales" Toward Gender Parity in New Partner Class

NEW YORK, NY (November 4, 2021) Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce the firm has been honored with the “Tipping the Scales Award” as part of the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance’s 2021 New Partner Report. Jackson Lewis was one of 67 law firms honored at the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance’s Annual Conference yesterday, for having at least 50 percent women in its 2021 new partner class. 
 
“I am very proud of our ongoing commitment to a diverse, equitable and inclusive workforce,” said Firm Chair Kevin G. Lauri. “This is our third consecutive win for ‘Tipping the Scales’ and we will continue recruiting women in high numbers and promoting them to partnership each year. The Diversity & Flexibility Alliance’s New Partner Report is a yearly compilation and examination of data from more than 100 of the nation’s largest and top-grossing law firms about the attorneys promoted to partnership. The report specifically examines the gender breakdown of attorneys promoted to partnership in their U.S. offices.
