NEW YORK, NY (November 18, 2019) Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s preeminent workplace law firms, is pleased to announce Principal John A. Snyder has been honored as a 20 Year Circle member by Lawyers Alliance for New York, which connects attorneys with nonprofits serving communities in need. Mr. Snyder was one of 50 pro bono volunteers who received the organization’s 20 Year Circle award, honoring volunteer attorneys whose pro bono work through the organization has spanned at least 20 years. He was recognized as part of Lawyers Alliance for New York’s annual pro bono attorney awards ceremony, the 2019 Cornerstone Awards, in special recognition of its 50th anniversary.

Mr. Snyder is a Principal in the New York City office of Jackson Lewis. He focuses his practice on litigating state and federal discrimination, retaliation, commission and wage and hour, contract, restrictive covenant, executive compensation, whistleblower and many other facets of employment-related litigation on behalf of management. Mr. Snyder provides advice and counseling on employee hiring and departure issues, drafts restrictive covenant, employment, and executive compensation agreements, as well as litigates and handles employment contract, executive compensation and non-competition matters throughout the country.

Mr. Snyder earned his J.D. from New York University and his B.S., summa cum laude, from Seton Hall University.
