WHITE PLAINS, NY (July 17, 2017) Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s preeminent workplace law firms, is pleased to announce Principals Maurice G. Jenkins and Michael J. Moberg have been elected Fellows of the College of Labor & Employment Lawyers in the Class of 2017.
The College of Labor & Employment Lawyers is a non-profit professional association honoring the leading lawyers nationwide in the practice of Labor and Employment Law. Maurice G. Jenkins is a Principal in the firm’s Detroit office and has practiced labor and employment law for more than 30 years. A trial lawyer, Mr. Jenkins, who is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, has first chaired jury trials, labor and civil rights arbitrations, NLRB hearings and state civil rights administrative cases on behalf of employers in such business sectors as automotive (OEM; Tier .5-4 suppliers and retail), pharmaceutical manufacturing, international, national and regional consumer retailers, information technology, telecommunications, gaming, and financial services. Mr. Jenkins also advises and represents employers with respect to strategic labor relations matters, collective bargaining and NLRB litigation.
Michael J. Moberg is a Principal in the firm’s Minneapolis office and has more than 20 years of experience focusing his practice on labor and preventive practices and general employment litigation and counseling. His traditional labor experience includes assisting employers facing union organizing attempts, representing employers before the National Labor Relations Board and federal courts, negotiating collective bargaining agreements and providing advice and counsel on labor negotiations strategy, in addition to defending employers in labor arbitrations.
The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers will be hosting the 22nd Annual Induction Dinner scheduled for Nov. 11, 2017 in Washington, DC. The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center will host Fellows, their guests and members of the Class of 2017 for an evening of celebration and commemoration.
