Bovée Chosen Best Lawyer Under 40

HARTFORD, Conn., (November 15, 2010) – Jackson Lewis LLP, one of the country’s largest and fastest growing workplace law firms, announced that Tanya A. Bovée is a recipient of the 2010 National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) “Best Lawyers Under 40” award.  Ms. Bovée is a Partner in the firm’s Hartford office.

NAPABA’s “Best Lawyers Under 40” award recognizes talented individuals within the Asian Pacific American legal community under the age of 40 who have achieved prominence and distinction in their fields of endeavor — be it the practice of law, academia, business, civic and charitable affairs, the judiciary, or politics — and have demonstrated a strong commitment to APA civic or community affairs. According to the NAPABA selection committee, Ms. Bovée’s “inclusion in this esteemed list is testament to (her) significant accomplishments both in the legal arena and the Asian-Pacific American community.”

Since 2004, Ms. Bovée has been a member of the board of directors of the Connecticut Asian Pacific American Bar Association (CAPABA) and is a past president. She also is co-chair of the joint CAPABA and Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association’s Achievement Mentoring Program, Jackson Lewis’ Asian American Resource Group, and NAPABA’s Labor and Employment Committee, as well as a member of the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York , the Connecticut Bar Association’s Diversity Committee, the Connecticut Council of Bar Presidents, and Jackson Lewis’ Diversity Committee.
