Jackson Lewis Attorney Named Trustee of Henry Ford Health System

Detroit, MI (January 29, 2009) – Jackson Lewis LLP, one of the largest and fastest growing workplace law firms in the United States, announced that Maurice Jenkins, Managing Partner of the firm’s Detroit office, was appointed to a two year term as a Trustee of the Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital Board of Trustees.

Mr. Jenkins, a Detroit native, has been Managing Partner of Jackson Lewis’ Detroit office since its inception in February 2008. He is one of the most respected attorneys in the area, with over twenty-five years of experience representing leading companies in employment and labor law matters, including claims of discrimination, wrongful termination, whistleblower retaliation and reduction in force.

The Henry Ford Health System (HFHS) is a not-for-profit corporation governed by a 24-member board of trustees, Advisory and affiliate boards of more than 150 volunteer community leaders.

He is also Chairman of the Detroit Civil Service Commission and serves on the Board of Directors of Black Family Development, Inc.
