NEW YORK (March 3, 2008) — Jackson Lewis LLP, one of the country's largest and fastest growing workplace law firms, has hired Dona S. Kahn as Of Counsel in its New York office. Ms. Kahn is an experienced and proficient trial attorney, having tried over 30 employment cases around the country. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Ms. Kahn co-chaired the employment law group of Anderson Kill & Olick, P.C.

With Jackson Lewis, Ms. Kahn will represent management in employment related matters, both administratively and in jury and non-jury trials around the country. She is most often recognized for her extensive experience in defending discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims. She's represented several high profile Universities and Fortune 500 companies. As an authority on minimizing the exposure of liability in employment disputes, Ms. Kahn is a sought-after speaker on employment law.
Prior to joining Anderson Kill & Olick, P.C., Ms. Kahn was Of Counsel in the firm of Harris and Kahn. During her career, she also served as an Associate Regional Attorney in the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's Litigation Center in Philadelphia, and as Chief, Legal Branch, Enforcement Division of the Environmental Protection Agency's Region III. Ms. Kahn also has experience litigating antitrust and unfair trade practice cases under the Packers and Stockyards Act as a trial attorney, U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Ms. Kahn is admitted to practice in New York, Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second, Third and Fourth Circuits, and the D.C. Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. She's a member of the Associations of the Bar of the City of New York, New York State, and the American Bar Association. Ms. Kahn received her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law and her B.A. from Brandeis University.
