Jackson Lewis Opens Las Vegas Office

LAS VEGAS, Nev., (February 7, 2008)- Continuing its western United States expansion, Jackson Lewis LLP, one of the country's leading workplace law firms, announced today it has opened an office in Las Vegas. The office is headed by Partner and Resident Manager Gary Moss, one of the country's most widely respected labor and employment attorneys. Mr. Moss specializes in all areas of labor and employment law, including federal and state court employment discrimination and wrongful discharge litigation, collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, union organizing campaigns, cases before federal and state administrative agencies, wage and hour matters, and labor and employment law issues relating to sales, mergers, acquisitions, shutdowns and bankruptcies.

Joining Mr. Moss in the Las Vegas office is associate Paul Trimmer. Mr. Trimmer practices in all areas of labor and employment law including federal and state court employment discrimination and wrongful discharge litigation, collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, union organizing campaigns, unfair labor practice charges and related matters before the National Labor Relations Board. Mr. Trimmer has also advised and represented clients in matters before federal and state courts and administrative agencies involving general civil disputes, wage and hour matters, employee benefits, and labor and employment law issues relating to covenants not to compete, sales, mergers, acquisitions, shutdowns, and bankruptcies.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Trimmer served a one-year term as a law clerk to the Honorable Suzanne B. Conlon of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
