SAN FRANCISCO (October 8, 2007) Jackson Lewis LLP, one of the country's leading workplace law firms, announced today that Christine Maloney has joined the firm's San Francisco office as partner.
In her position as partner, Ms. Maloney will handle all aspects of employment law, including litigation, arbitration, and training and preventive counseling for employers and human resources professionals.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Ms. Maloney was a partner in the San Francisco firm Renne Sloan Holtzman Sakai LLP where her practice focused on the representation of cities, counties, community college districts and other local agencies in all aspects of labor and employment law. Prior to that, Maloney was senior assistant city attorney for Seattle where she represented a municipality with 10,000 employees in labor and employment matters. She started her career as an associate with the firms Sebris Busto James, P.S. in Bellevue, Wash., and Foster Pepper PLLC in Seattle.

Ms. Maloney is admitted to practice in California and Washington. She is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco, the Edward J. McFetridge American Inn of Court and the State Bar of California Labor and Employment Law Section. She is also the author of numerous employment and labor law articles and a frequent presenter at industry conferences.
Ms. Maloney received her juris doctorate from the University of Oregon School of Law (1991) where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and graduated in the top 6% of her class. She received her B.A. degree from the University of Washington (1988).
