Association of Corporate Counsel Honors Jackson Lewis with Outstanding Committee Sponsor Award

The Association of Corporate Counsel has awarded its first annual Outstanding Law Firm Committee Sponsor Award to Jackson Lewis LLP. The award was given in recognition of the firm's work with the ACC Labor & Employment Law Committee, and for the firm's support of the Association of Corporate Counsel.

The award was presented to Jackson Lewis at the Leadership Dinner held in conjunction with the ACC Annual Meeting in Chicago on October 25, 2004.

This is the second year in a row that the Labor & Employment Law Committee has been recognized by ACC for its contribution to the membership and to the association. In 2003, the Committee was honored as the ACC Committee of the Year. Projects that helped the Committee earn that award included an influential comment letter to the Department of Labor on the new "white collar" overtime regulations under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The Labor & Employment Law Committee Wants You!

The Association of Corporate Counsel has designated committee membership and participation as a high priority for all ACC members in 2005.

The ACC Labor & Employment Law Committee has ambitious plans for exciting projects in 2005, including producing four webcasts and taking initiative on policy items, such as filing regulatory comments on behalf of ACC.

The Committee needs your help! ACC membership has grown at a remarkable pace, and while committee membership has grown, too, the Labor & Employment Law Committee welcomes all new and returning members to join the action. Be part of the fun as a member of the two-time winner of Committee recognition awards.

For information on the Committee and how to join, please visit the ACC Labor & Employment Law Committee webpage.
