National Management Labor Law Firm Welcomes Experienced Employment Trial Lawyer

Jackson Lewis LLP, one of the nation's largest management labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce the addition of experienced trial lawyer Ingrid Blackwelder Erwin to its Greenville office. With 22 years of trial experience, Ms. Erwin enhances the employment litigation capabilities of the firm's Carolina regional office.

With an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell, Ms. Erwin is one of the state's most prominent management employment trial lawyers, having represented employers in numerous federal and state court lawsuits. Additionally, Ms. Erwin has a substantial benefits litigation practice. "Jackson Lewis is recognized as the leading management employment law firm in the country, and I am excited to have the opportunity to join a firm which limits its practice to representing management only in employment-related matters," said Ms. Erwin.

The Greenville office, with Steve Warren as managing partner, is one of 20 of the national law firm's regional locations across the country. "Ingrid's background, particularly her experience as a trial attorney with the Baker Botts firm in Texas, makes her a valuable addition to our office," according to Mr. Warren. "Her practice complements our practice, and we are delighted to have her join us."

The addition of Ms. Erwin broadens the Greenville office's capabilities in representing employers of all sizes and industries in all workplace law matters at the federal, state, and local levels. She joins partners Ashley Abel and George Harper, who concentrate in employment and benefits litigation; Ed Foulke, former Chairman of the OSH Review Commission, who concentrates in workplace safety and OSHA; and Paul Derrick, who concentrates in employment litigation and labor law.

Attorneys in the Greenville office of Jackson Lewis are admitted to practice and primarily work with employers in South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Texas.

Recognized across the country for its expertise in employment litigation and other fields of workplace law, the firm's 360 lawyers represent small employers as well as numerous Fortune 100 companies. In addition to its trial capabilities, for over 45 years Jackson Lewis has placed a high premium on assisting employers in developing preventive strategies and positive solutions for the workplace.  With offices in 20 major cities throughout the U.S., Jackson Lewis combines a national perspective with an awareness of local business environments. The firm's clients represent a wide range of public and private employers and non-profit institutions.
