The DOL has now released the Association Health Plan (AHP) Final Rules and now employers and all insurance industry specialists are left wondering if these new rules will really have an impact in assisting employers and others in stabilizing health insurance costs for small to medium sized employers for the future.  This webinar provides a brief history of AHP’s and compliance hurdles under prior law, as well as a summary of the most recent changes made under the Final Rule and when such changes become effective.  Lastly, we will address practical realities of the true impact of the AHP rules, whether they will likely be a viable option and open questions that remain.
