Hannah Griffin Garlough
Hannah Griffin Garlough is an associate in the Chicago, Illinois, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Hannah’s practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters.
Hannah has experience litigating restrictive covenant and misappropriation of trade secrets claims on behalf of employers. She regularly defends companies against lawsuits arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA). She also offers preventive advice and counseling in these areas.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Hannah practiced in the Chicago office of an international law firm and at a prominent litigation boutique. She spent many years representing both public and private companies in contract disputes and complex commercial cases and has extensive experience appearing before state and federal courts. Hannah’s background as a commercial litigator, including excellent writing and oral advocacy skills, is an asset she brings to bear in her current practice.
Hannah prides herself on her ability to see and understand the full landscapes in which her clients operate, including the legal and regulatory framework, economic trends, and other issues affecting their industries. She has particular experience representing and counseling clients in the manufacturing industry.
While attending law school, Hannah served as executive articles editor of the Journal of Legislation.
