A Firm Commitment

Our Pro Bono Initiative formalizes the firm’s deep commitment to pro bono legal services. In 2023, nearly 400 of our attorneys contributed 6,313 collective hours of pro bono legal services to the legal community, and in 2024 the firm was recognized as a Beacon of Justice honoree by the National Legal Aid & Defender Association for our civil and human rights pro bono work.

At the core of our Pro Bono Initiative is the belief that the firm and our attorneys play a unique role in ensuring equal access to the justice system on behalf of the disadvantaged and charitable organizations that serve the indigent. Not only does pro bono work provide a valuable public service, but it also dispenses invaluable training for our attorneys.

Feeding America

In 2024, Jackson Lewis announced our national partnership with Feeding America, the country's largest domestic hunger-relief organization. This collaboration reflects our firm's commitment to meaningful philanthropy and community engagement that aligns with our core values. Through a significant firm donation and planned volunteer initiatives at both local and national levels, we're supporting Feeding America's vital work. Their nationwide network of food banks, pantries, and meal programs improves access to nutritious food, expands economic security, and advocates for policies that address food insecurity across America. Together, we're making a difference in communities where our employees live and work.
