Workplace Law Powerhouse Continues to Grow; Jackson Lewis Welcomes Leroy J. Watkins, Jr. as Partner

Jackson Lewis LLP, one of the nation's largest workplace law firms, is pleased to announce LeRoy J. Watkins, Jr. has joined the firm's New York City office as a Partner.

Most recently, Mr. Watkins was General Counsel at Utendahl Capital Partners, L.P., an investment bank. He previously served as employment counsel in the law departments of General Electric Company and J.C. Penney Company, Inc. and in the labor and employment departments at the Proskauer Rose and Epstein Becker & Green law firms. At Jackson Lewis, Mr. Watkins will continue his distinguished career in workplace law.

Mr. Watkins received his undergraduate degree from Yale University in 1974 and his J.D. from Fordham Law School in 1978. In 2000, he received the Ruth Whitehead Whaley Award from the Fordham Law School Black Law Students Association.
