Stephanie L. Adler-Paindiris Adds Class Actions Experience as New Co-Leader of Jackson Lewis' General Employment Litigation Practice

NEW YORK, NY (November 5, 2020) Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s preeminent workplace law firms, is pleased to announce Principal Stephanie L. Adler-Paindiris has been named Co-Leader of the firm’s General Employment Litigation practice, where she will serve alongside Nadine C. Abrahams. Stephanie has more than 20 years of experience representing employers at the trial and appellate level in state and federal courts facing class and collective actions. Prior to her new leadership role in the firm’s national employment litigation practice, Stephanie served as Co-Leader of the Class Actions and Complex Litigation practice since 2015.

Stephanie is a Principal in the Orlando office of Jackson Lewis where she defends management facing class and collective actions as well as claims of discrimination, retaliation or whistleblowing activity on an individual basis. She also appears regularly before administrative judges and agencies. She has conducted more than a dozen trials before juries and judges in state and federal courts. In addition, she has participated in arbitrations and administrative hearings before the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings as well as AAA and FINRA. Stephanie has successfully defended appeals before four Courts of Appeals and has been admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Stephanie also provides ongoing legal support and counsel on a daily basis for many of her clients. She routinely provides training to managers and supervisors in all areas of employment law, including but not limited to, supervisory training, sexual and racial harassment prevention, disciplinary practice, documentation policies, safety and disability management.

Over the duration of Stephanie’s career, she has been recognized for many prestigious legal awards and recognitions by BTI Consulting Group (2017), Chambers USA (2020),  Martindale-Hubbell (2020), The Best Lawyers in America© (2021) and The Legal 500 United States (2020). 

Stephanie is a member of the Academy of Florida Management Attorneys, the American Bar Association, the Association of Corporate Counsel for Central Florida, the Federal Bar Association, the National Association of Women Lawyers, the Florida Bar. and the Virgin Islands Bar Association. She earned her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University and her B.S. from Syracuse University.
