CLEVELAND, OH (November 6, 2024) Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce Stephanie E. Harley has joined its Cleveland office as a principal. Stephanie has more than 25 years of employment counseling, litigation and dispute resolution.

Stephanie’s advice and counsel practice helps clients navigate sensitive personnel issues while aiming to avoid litigation. She provides employers with guidance on matters such as discipline and termination, reductions in force, benefits and Family and Medical Leave Act administration, disability accommodation procedures, wage and hour issues, harassment and discrimination investigations, handbook and policy drafting, employee and supervisory training, performance management and contract drafting.
Stephanie also has litigation experience representing employers of all sizes in disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation and other employment law violations. She has successfully defended clients in complex litigation matters, achieving favorable outcomes in several high-profile cases involving claims of sex and age discrimination during workforce reductions, as well as disability discrimination, sexual harassment and retaliation.

In addition to her legal practice, Stephanie is a member of the Labor and Employment Section of the American Bar Association, the Cleveland Employment Chapter of the American Inns of Court and the Ohio State Bar Association. Previously, she served as chair of the Labor and Employment Section Practice and Procedure Clinic of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and was a committee member for the Northern Ohio Employment and Labor Conference.
Stephanie earned her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Colorado.
