Prominent Immigration Attorney Joins Jackson Lewis

Atlanta, GA (January 13, 2009) – Jackson Lewis LLP, one of the largest and fastest growing workplace law firms in the United States, has announced that Raazia K. Hall joined their Atlanta office as a Partner. Ms. Hall was formerly a Partner in the business immigration practice group at Ford & Harrison. She now joins the Jackson Lewis Global Immigration Practice and will focus her attention on the needs of employers in the region and throughout the country.

Ms. Hall is the fifth immigration law specialist to join Jackson Lewis since January 1, 2009. The firm also announced their merger with Jones Stevenson, a four-attorney immigration specialty firm based in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition, Victor X. Cerda, former Acting General Counsel for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, joined the firm‘s Washington DC office in August 2008.

Ms. Hall brings a wealth of experience in employment-based immigration matters and employment documentation issues for domestic and international companies. She is a former officer of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and chaired that organization‘s Young Lawyers Division. She is a member of the Georgia Bar and has been recognized in Chambers USA: America‘s Leading Lawyers for Business and Georgia Super Lawyers: Georgia‘s Rising Stars for her accomplishments and reputation in immigration law.
