Paul P. Parisi Rejoins Jackson Lewis, Strengthening Denver Team

DENVER, CO (September 26, 2024) Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce Paul P. Parisi has rejoined the firm as a principal in its Denver office. Paul returns from DISH Network, where he served as director of litigation and senior counsel and led the company’s global labor and employment practice group.

“Paul’s experience as in-house counsel brings a valuable perspective to our Disability, Leave and Health Management group,” said Joseph J. Lynett and Katharine C. Weber, co-leaders of the group. “His skill in crafting effective, compliant policies will greatly enhance our ability to serve clients. We’re thrilled to have him back at Jackson Lewis.”

Paul has significant experience in disability management and health-related legal issues. Drawing on his extensive experience with DISH Network, he provides guidance to employers who are dealing with the complex web of employment issues arising out of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Family and Medical Leave Act. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Paul served as DISH’s primary legal advisor offering support to more than 20,000 employees on safety, disability accommodations, remote work and local government relations.

In addition to his extensive advice and counsel practice, Paul addresses all aspects of labor and employment law. He frequently represents clients in employment discrimination and harassment cases, wage and hour class actions, immigration law, and federal government contracting. As an experienced litigator, he has successfully resolved hundreds of disputes before state and federal courts, as well as various administrative agencies, arbitrators, and mediators.

Paul also draws on his 20 years of experience to develop and conduct employer training programs on management-side workforce relations, anti-discrimination and harassment policies, labor organizing, wage and hour compliance, and disability accommodations. His legal insights are often applied in emerging situations requiring rapid and effective solutions.

“We’re really excited to welcome Paul back to the firm,” said Ryan P. Lessmann, managing principal of Jackson Lewis’ Denver office. “His background in providing strategic legal support to senior leadership will be a huge benefit for our large corporate clients. Plus, his broad knowledge of employment law and ability to anticipate key issues will enhance our ability to deliver exceptional advice.”

Paul earned his J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law and his B.S. from Cornell University.

The Denver office can be reached at (303) 892-0404.
