RESTON, VA (February 6, 2020) Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s preeminent workplace law firms, is pleased to announce Nigel L. Wilkinson has joined the firm’s Washington, D.C. Region office as a Principal. Mr. Wilkinson focuses his practice on employment litigation and counseling, particularly in the areas of trade secret and wrongful competition litigation.

Neifach. “His experience on a variety of employment-related issues, including non-competition agreements and matters involving trade secrets, will enhance our existing capabilities on a regional and national basis.”
Mr. Wilkinson is an experienced first-chair trial attorney and has prosecuted and defended claims in federal and state courts across the country in a wide variety of civil matters. He counsels clients on prelitigation, litigation (including e-discovery matters), arbitration, mediation, bankruptcy and agency-related matters on various issues, including defamation, trade secret misappropriation, contract disputes, civil RICO, fraud and tort claims.
Additionally, Mr. Wilkinson dedicates a significant portion of his practice to counseling and defending clients in court and before administrative agencies on a variety of employment-related matters, such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage payment disputes, non-compete and non-solicitation matters, contract disputes, and employee misconduct claims. He also advises clients on various employment-related policies, employment and separation agreements, termination issues, employee handbooks, and compensation issues.

Some of Mr. Wilkinson’s recent litigation experience includes representing a global technology company against a former senior executive’s multi-million dollar wrongful termination claim, representing a large national defense contractor in multiple cases prosecuting various trade secret, conspiracy, and employment contract claims before the federal district and appellate courts, and successfully defending a large national clothing retailer against multiple FMLA, Title VII and retaliation claims, as well as various EEOC charges.
Mr. Wilkinson earned his J.D. from The Catholic University of America and his B.A. from George Mason University.
