Marrello has been selected to receive the Above & Beyond Award for Outstanding Women in Law & Lobbying by City & State. The award was presented at City & State’s Above & Beyond Gala on March 28 at The Dream Downtown in Manhattan. Ms. Marrello was one of 30 women honored for their demonstrated exemplary leadership, distinguished professional accomplishments and significant contributions to society.

Ms. Marrello is the Managing Principal in the Albany, New York office of Jackson Lewis and Co-Leader of the firm's Government Relations Practice Group. She provides legislative strategy and regulatory counsel before government agencies on issues spanning healthcare, higher education and the professions, financial services, transit and transportation, racing & gaming, and economic development initiatives. For more than 20 years, her experience as a seasoned government relations attorney and skilled lobbyist makes her a resolute advocate for her clients on matters dealing with all aspects of legislative policy, budgetary analysis, appropriations funding, procurement, and administrative and regulatory guidance. Ms. Marrello has gained the confidence of clients who rely on her successes in government policy, process and advocacy.
Ms. Marrello maintains professional contacts with federal, state and local government officials, having served in both New York State and New York City government. Prior to her years in private practice, she served as assistant legislative representative for the City of New York, Mayor’s Office under former Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani. Ms. Marrello began her career with the New York State Assembly as chief of staff and counsel to the chairman of the Standing Committee on Housing, where she negotiated housing policy on behalf of the chairman.
Ms. Marrello received her B.A. from Siena College and her J.D. from the Western New England University School of Law.
