Leonora M. Schloss Named a Legal Visionary by Los Angeles Times
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 7, 2023) Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce that Leonora “Lenny” M. Schloss has been named a 2023 Legal Visionary honoree by the Los Angeles Times. The honorees were selected based on exhibiting noteworthy achievements within their respective practice areas, for their successes and accomplishments achieved in the past 24 months, and for innovative strategies to help organizations and clients avoid risk and leverage opportunities.

Lenny is a principal in the firm’s Los Angeles office and has more than 30 years of experience as a labor and employment attorney. She provides employers with effective legal advice and business-oriented solutions to help them achieve their objectives in a cost-effective manner.
As co-leader of the firm’s California Wage and Hour Internal Audit Subgroup, Lenny has defended hundreds of wage and hour class action cases, many resulting in complete dismissals. She has also litigated cases involving claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage/hour cases in state and federal courts.
One of Lenny's more notable successes is her involvement in a representative class action case that shaped California employment law. By taking the case to trial and securing a dismissal of the representative class, Lenny helped define minimum wage calculation under California law for the first time and set it apart from federal law.
Lenny is a frequent speaker on employment law issues and offers valuable guidance on preventive measures, drafting policies and substantive employment law topics.
