Jonathan R. Cavalier Joins Jackson Lewis in Philadelphia

NEW YORK, NY (May 9, 2022) Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce Jonathan R. Cavalier has joined the firm’s Philadelphia office as a principal. Jon joins the firm from Cozen O’Connor and has more than 15 years of experience in labor and employment trials and litigation. 
 
“Jon’s experience, in particular his trial experience, adds significant depth to the firm’s litigation capabilities, and we are thrilled to welcome him to the firm,” said Litigation group Co-Leaders Stephanie L. Adler-Paindiris and Stephanie E. Lewis. “He has an impressive track record in the courtroom which will be an invaluable asset to our clients.”
 
Jon focuses his practice on labor and employment litigation and has substantial lead trial experience before both jury and bench in discrimination, wage and hour, restrictive covenant and trade secret matters.
 
Jon has also dedicated a significant portion of his practice to ERISA class action and single-plaintiff litigation, prosecuting and defending actions involving noncompetition agreements, restrictive covenants and trade secrets, and defending employers from claims of discrimination in state and federal court. He is also well-versed in resolving electronic discovery disputes and his business background gives him a unique insight while advising clients on how to best avoid, to prepare for and, when necessary, to win in litigation.
