John Nolan Named Managing Partner of Jackson Lewis' Philadelphia Office

PHILADELPHIA, PA (January 22, 2013) – Jackson Lewis LLP, one of the country’s largest and fastest-growing workplace law firms, is pleased to announce John M. Nolan has assumed the role of Philadelphia office Managing Partner, succeeding Rick Grimaldi.  Mr. Grimaldi will continue his legal practice as Partner, representing employers in all aspects of employment disputes.   

“I worked with John for many years in our Morristown office before he made the move to Philadelphia. He is a seasoned litigator who has consistently shown a commitment to the success of both the office and Jackson Lewis as a whole, making him a great fit for the role of Philadelphia office Managing Partner,” said Vincent A. Mr. Nolan, a trial lawyer, joined Jackson Lewis in December 1994.  He has tried over 80 jury and non-jury trials to verdict with considerable success.   Mr. Nolan was selected for inclusion in New Jersey Super Lawyers every year from 2009 to 2013 and was also recognized in The Best Lawyers in America 2013.  Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Mr. Nolan was an Assistant District Attorney in New York and a senior associate at a large, full-service law firm in central New Jersey. 

Mr. Nolan received his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law.  He completed his undergraduate studies at Boston College, where he received a B. A. in Political Science.   Mr. Nolan is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.  He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, District of New Jersey, and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
