Jackson Lewis Welcomes Benefits Litigator Stephanie Segalini in Orlando
ORLANDO, FL (February 23, 2015) Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s largest and fastest-growing workplace law firms, is pleased to announce Stephanie A. Segalini has joined the firm’s Orlando office as Shareholder. Ms. Segalini, who joins the firm from Akerman LLP, brings with her over a decade of employee benefits litigation experience.

Ms. Segalini’s practice focuses on all aspects of employee benefits litigation, including coverage, breach of fiduciary duty, statutory penalty and benefits claims. She has experience in both federal and state courts with all types of benefit disputes, particularly pension, health, life and disability claims under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA.)
Ms. Segalini has served as senior advisor and lead counsel on dispute resolution issues for the nation’s largest insurance carriers, employers, employer-sponsored benefit plans, claims administrators, third-party administrators, plan administrators and broker groups. In addition, she has provided dispute resolution services in both pre-suit administrative proceedings and in state and federal litigation, and she has numerous published ERISA decisions.
Ms. Segalini received her B.A. from Emory University and her J.D. from the University of Miami’s School of Law.
