Jason, who also co-leads the firm’s national Privacy, Data and Cybersecurity group, succeeds Richard J. Cino, who is stepping down to focus on his growing practice. Brett M. Anders will assume the role of office litigation manager.

Jason is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) with the International Association of Privacy Professionals. His practice focuses on the matrix of laws governing privacy, security, and management of data.
Jason's work in the area of privacy and data security includes, but is not limited to, counseling international, national and regional companies on the privacy and security requirements under state, federal, and international law. Jason helps companies in all industries to assess information risk and security as part of the development and implementation of comprehensive data security programs. Additionally, Jason assists companies in analyzing issues related to electronic communications, social media, workplace technologies, electronic signatures, monitoring and recording, biometrics, website compliance, including policies, notices, and procedures to address same.
Jason’s privacy litigation practice focuses on defending clients against a panoply of legal claims related to data breaches (such as the improper access or acquisition of personal information), website tacking technologies, personal information collection technologies, and methods for communicating with customers, patients, clients, and employees across the ever-expanding web of federal, state, local and common law requirements.
Jason’s employment litigation practice focuses on representing management in matters involving restrictive covenants, class actions, harassment, retaliation, and discrimination claims in both federal and state courts. Jason's practice also focuses on advising/counseling employers regarding daily workplace issues.

Jason is the co-leader of the firm’s Hispanic Attorney Resource Group, a group committed to increasing the firm’s visibility among Hispanic American and other minority attorneys, as well as mentoring the firm's attorneys to assist in their training and development. He also previously served on the National Leadership Committee of the Hispanic National Bar Association and regularly volunteers his time for pro bono matters. Jason earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School – Newark and his B.S. from The College of New Jersey.
