To coordinate inclusion efforts throughout each of Jackson Lewis’ 49 locations, the firm has a standing Diversity Committee that ensures all vital diversity areas are addressed and provides leadership opportunities for female and minority attorneys.  The Diversity Committee consists of Diversity Committee Chair Weldon Latham; Management Committee Liaison Joan Ackerstein; Diversity Manager and Partner Michael Hatcher; and the co-chairs of five Attorney Resource Groups (ARGs): African American; Asian American; Hispanic; Women; and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender attorneys.  Each of the ARGs meets periodically to discuss business development opportunities, client service initiatives, workplace and other professional issues.
