About the Race
The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® Series raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrating breast cancer survivorship and honoring those who have lost their battle with the disease.
The Los Angeles County Affiliate has raised over $7 million to fund breast cancer programs and research in the last 12 years, which have gone to provide the medically underserved and uninsured populations in Los Angeles County with screening, diagnostic tests and treatments for breast cancer.
The race is a 5k run/walk at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena and will take place on Sunday, March 15 from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. The run starts at 9:30 and the walk starts at 10:00. For more information on the Race, please visit: Race For the Cure Join the Jackson Lewis Team!
