Jackson Lewis LLP Adds Experienced Lobbyist to Government Relations Practice Area

Long-time federal government advisor brings critical insight to private practice

WASHINGTON, D.C., (August 4, 2009) -- Jackson Lewis LLP, one of the country’s leading workplace law firms, announced that Aloysius Hogan has joined the firm’s Washington, D.C. region office as Of Counsel.   He will assist the firm’s Government Relations practice area, concentrating on the firm’s growing lobbying efforts.

Previously, Mr. Hogan worked for United States Senators Jim Inhofe, Chuck Hagel, John Warner, Mitch McConnell, and Alphonse D’Amato, as well as United States Congressmen Paul Broun, Joe Knollenberg, and Don Young.  Mr. Hogan also served four committees of both the U.S. House and the Senate. 

Furthermore Mr. Hogan served in leadership for the National Republican Senatorial Committee, U.S. House leadership task forces, U.S. House message team, and U.S. Senate Whip team.

During his 15 year career on Capitol Hill, Mr. Hogan assisted in the passage of numerous legislative provisions in the areas of appropriations, tax, environment, trade, defense, education, health, agriculture, energy and aerospace.   His achievements have been recognized by many elected officials who have praised him as “trustworthy, intelligent, and hardworking.”

Mr. Hogan received his J.D. from the Notre Dame Law School in 1991. He also holds a B.S. in biology from The University of Notre Dame where he graduated with distinction from the Honors Program. Mr. Hogan is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
