Jackson Lewis Expands Houston Office with Addition of Four New Attorneys

HOUSTON, TX (February 14, 2022) Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce the firm has added four new attorneys to its Houston office including Principals Paige Taylor Bennett, Kenneth J. Harder, Chuck Jeremiah and Associate Christine Traversi, as well as a team of support staff.

“Paige, Ken, Chuck and Christine bring an impressive range of experience related to employment litigation and counseling,” said Firm Chair Kevin G. Lauri. “Our work has considerably expanded in the areas of class actions and immigration, and these additions reinforce the capabilities of our Houston office. Paige who joins the firm from Daniels & Tredennick PLLC, focuses her practice on labor and employment litigation, including discrimination and wage and hour disputes, class actions, employment contract and non-compete negotiations. She is a board-certified Labor & Employment attorney (TBLS) and has first-chaired more than a dozen jury trials. Paige currently handles complex litigation from wage & hour class action to trade secret infringement, as well as employment discrimination lawsuits. She has represented clients from Forbes 500 companies to established Texas-based corporations. In addition to being admitted to the Texas and California bars, Paige is admitted to the federal courts in the S.D. of Tex., W.D. of Tex., N.D. of Tex., C.D. of Cal., N.D. of Cal., and E.D. of Mich.

Ken joins the firm from Dunbar Harder, PLLC, where he was managing partner of the firm’s immigration and nationality services. He is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Immigration and Nationality Law and is a past member of the Immigration Law Advisory Commission. Ken’s clients include multinational energy, manufacturing, transportation and services companies, as well as individual investors across a broad spectrum of industries. He has been recognized in the 2021 Edition of Chambers USA, rated an AV Preeminent attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, and is a Who’s Who Legal 2021 Thought Leader in the Corporate Immigration category. Ken has contributed numerous articles on immigration and nationality law to legal journals, conferences, and business publications. He also lectures on the subject at law schools, universities and various business forums. He is the past chair of both the State Bar of Texas International Law Section and the Houston Bar Association International Law Section. Ken earned both his J.D. and LL.M. degree (International Economic Law) from the University of Houston Law Center and his B.A. from The State University of New York at Buffalo.

Chuck previously practiced at Andrews Myers, P.C. and Holland & Knight. His representative matters include claims brought under various state and federal statutes such as the FLSA, Title VII and other anti-discrimination and anti-retaliation statutes, and the Family and FMLA. Chuck also has extensive experience drafting employment policies and contracts, and litigating disputes arising out of non-compete agreements, wage and hour disputes and discrimination. He is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and represents clients in a wide variety of employment matters in the healthcare, government, transportation, energy, hospitality, entertainment and construction industries. Chuck has nearly 30 years of experience handling hundreds of litigation matters in federal and state courts including defense in litigation and arbitration forums of both individual and class/collective actions.

Christine also joins the firm from Dunbar Harder and focuses her practice on all aspects of corporate U.S. immigration law. As immigration policy and practices are changing and becoming increasingly complex, Christine advises employers on business immigration strategy, counseling and implementation. She earned her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and her B.A. from Bryn Mawr College. Christine is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
