NEW YORK, NY (October 4, 2024) — Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce the firm has achieved Diversity Lab’s Mansfield Plus Certification for the 2023-2024 period. The Mansfield Rule is a certification program that ensures all talent, including historically underrepresented groups, has equitable access to leadership opportunities through a transparent and broadened selection process. Jackson Lewis has committed to and successfully achieved this certification since 2019.
“Achieving Mansfield Plus Certification for the fifth consecutive year highlights the importance we place on diversity, equity and inclusion within our firm,” said Firm Chair Kevin Lauri. “By adopting an inclusive and transparent approach in considering candidates for leadership positions, we’re not just finding the best candidates— we’re also creating opportunities where all our people can succeed.”
To achieve certification for the 2023-2024 period, Jackson Lewis successfully increased transparency in its advancement processes by drafting leadership role descriptions, highlighting attorney-focused policies and publishing promotion criteria to all lawyers. The firm also engaged in regular industry-focused, knowledge-sharing calls and six-month check-ins to support the implementation of these inclusive practices.
To earn the additional Plus designation, Jackson Lewis voluntarily shared data and outcomes from the firm’s inclusive processes. This openness enables Diversity Lab to pinpoint areas where further improvements can be made.

Earlier this year, Jackson Lewis was named an early adopter of Diversity Lab’s Mansfield Certification Process, a designation granted to firms that have consecutively achieved Mansfield Certification for at least five years. The firm has also committed to pursuing the 2024-2025 Mansfield Certification.
