Fromholz Joins Jackson Lewis in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA (July 23, 2012) - Jackson Lewis LLP, one of the country’s largest and fastest-growing workplace law firms, is pleased to announce Ann Haley Fromholz has joined the firm’s Los Angeles office as Partner. 

Ms. Fromholz joins Jackson Lewis from Caesars Entertainment Corporation in Las Vegas, where she served as Vice President and Chief Counsel for the Enterprise Labor and Employment group.  Previously, she worked as Senior Counsel in the labor and employment division for both ConocoPhillips and Kaiser Permanente.  In all three in-house counsel positions, Ms. Fromholz regularly advised management and human resource professionals about employment discipline and termination, as well as personnel policies and practices. 

At Caesars, Ms. Fromholz was responsible for managing the Labor and Employment division of the Legal Department, and worked with Human Resources leadership at 38 properties nationwide to ensure employment law compliance.  In this capacity, she managed over 100 single-plaintiff employment cases and several wage hour and discrimination class actions. 

Ms. Fromholz worked in private practice from 1994-2005, representing clients in the hospitality, retail, marketing, health care and financial industries.  As a workplace trainer for Seyfarth Shaw at Work and an EEOC consultant, Ms. Fromholz trained a wide variety of companies on harassment prevention, workplace investigations and workforce diversity, as well as compliance with EEOC consent decrees.

Ms. Fromholz is currently admitted to practice law in the States of California and Texas.  She is active in Committees for the American Bar Association, Labor and Employment Law Section, and has been a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, Employment and Labor Law Committee, since 2006. 

Ms. Fromholz graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in History in 1990 and earned her J.D., with honors, from the University of Southern California Law School in 1994.
