Former Fisher & Phillips Partners Join Jackson Lewis In Chicago

NEW YORK, NY (October 16, 2007) - Jackson Lewis LLP, one of the country's leading workplace law firms, announced today that Jane McFetridge and Nadine Abrahams have left Fisher & Phillips to join Jackson Lewis's Chicago office as partners.

Patrick Vaccaro, firm-wide Managing Partner of Jackson Lewis, says, "This is a very important and strategic development for our firm. It is not every day that you get the opportunity to join forces with such accomplished and successful attorneys and business acquirers. We are honored to have Jane and Nadine as partners. And, we are confident they will make a substantial contribution to our continued growth and success."

In her role as partner, Ms. McFetridge will handle the full spectrum of employment litigation, including both individual and class action suits. Ms. McFetridge is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, such as being designated an Illinois Super Lawyer and being listed in The 2008 Best Lawyers in America. Ms. McFetridge received her J.D. in 1989 from Northwestern University School of Law and had been with Fisher & Phillips since 2000.

Ms. McFetridge says, "Jackson Lewis is a preeminent firm in the areas of labor and employment with a depth of resources and extensive national footprint that will allow me to better service clients. I am looking forward to my future with the firm."

In her role as partner, Ms. Abrahams will focus primarily on employment discrimination and class action litigation. Prior to joining Fisher & Phillips in 2002, Ms. Abrahams was a Senior Counsel for the Employment Litigation Division of the City of Chicago Law Department. She received her J.D. in 1992 from New York University School of Law.

Ms. Abrahams says, "I'm pleased to join a firm with a large national footprint that enables me to provide my clients with more comprehensive, quality representation."

Ms. McFetridge is expected to transition into the role of Managing Partner of the Chicago office when the current Managing Partner, Peter Bulmer, returns full-time to client representation. Mr. Bulmer has held the position of Managing Partner since 1999.

Mr. Vaccaro adds, "Peter has successfully managed our Chicago office for eight years but has wanted, for some time, to devote his full attention to his practice and clients. Jane has the talent and proven track record to step in and assume this responsibility. We are looking forward to an exciting future in Chicago."
