English, Jr. has been selected as a Leadership in Law honoree by The Daily Record. The Leadership in Law awards program honors Maryland’s law professionals who demonstrate outstanding dedication to their occupation and their communities. Winners were selected by an outside panel of legal and business leaders.

Donny is a principal and the office litigation manager in the Baltimore office of Jackson Lewis. As a member of Jackson Lewis’ National trial team, he has tried numerous jury and bench trials in federal and state court. Donny has more than 20 years of experience litigating employment matters and assisting major corporations with internal investigations and in the development and establishment of employment policies, procedures and training programs.
Donny advises and represents employers in a broad range of employment law matters, including those involving discrimination and harassment, wage and hour, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants and retaliation claims. He also advises and trains managers and supervisors on preventive litigation practices, focusing on how to comply with applicable laws and regulations, avoid workplace disputes, resolve employee relation problems and satisfy legitimate employee expectations.
Prior to his career as an attorney, Donny served as an officer in the Air Force. He is currently the co-leader of Jackson Lewis’ Veterans Attorney resource group. Donny earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and his B.S. from the United States Air Force Academy.
