Adrienne L. Conrad Selected as 2018 Member of Leadership California's State Issues and Trends Program
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 7, 2018) Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s preeminent workplace law firms, is pleased to announce Principal Adrienne L. Conrad has been selected as a member of Leadership California’s Class of 2018 for the 2018 California Issues & Trends Program (CIT), a prestigious, yearlong professional series limited to 60 women leaders from across the state of California. Ms. Conrad will help further the mission of Leadership California to increase the representation and influence of diverse women leaders across the state and inspire them to act on their knowledge of issues and cutting-edge trends facing California, the nation and the world.
Ms. Conrad is an experienced trial attorney and has practiced labor and employment law for more than 17 years. She focuses her litigation practice on state and federal claims of discrimination matters, sexual harassment, retaliatory discharge and wage and hour issues. Ms. Conrad's practice was a fixture in the firm’s Jacksonville, FL office before recently relocating to the firm’s San Diego office in 2017, where she continued to focus on representing companies in complex non-competition litigation and class action suits.
Ms. Conrad is a well-suited addition to CIT, as it provides focused programming for women leaders, exposing them to critical public and private sector issues and enhancing their competitive knowledge on California from state, national and global perspectives. It connects women leaders from across the state with each other and with top decision-makers, thought leaders and practitioners. It promotes creativity and innovation through the sharing of ideas and best practices. The 1,600 Alumnae of the CIT are empowered to contribute more fully to California’s vision for the future and to the communities and companies in which they live and work.
Leadership California began in 1992 with a dream to inspire, inform and advance women leaders who would influence California’s future. It provides a critical pathway for successful women who care about advancement, achievement, and significance. These women are not only talking about change, but plan to be part of making it happen. Alumnae serve on nonprofit boards and are knowledgeable appointees for state boards and commissions.
Ms. Conrad received her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles and her J.D. from Cornell Law School.
