We will present quick hits on three current hot topics in workplace law: arbitration agreements, remote employees and restrictive covenants. We will look at remote and hybrid work trends, key management considerations, and the tricky state and local wage withholding and unemployment tax requirements that are implicated if you suddenly find yourself operating in a new state. We will also discuss the recent passage of the Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act of 2021 and how it affects arbitration agreements. Finally, this session will cover best practices for restrictive covenants in the post-COVID world.
