Flexible Work Arrangements in Higher Education

As a result of the pandemic, the higher education workplace has changed dramatically. Flexible work arrangements, including remote and hybrid policies, are being considered or adopted by many institutions to retain and recruit faculty and staff. Having a remote or hybrid workforce often requires modification of existing institution policies and practices, as well as compliance with state and local laws. This can present many challenges to institutions not accustomed to managing multi-state considerations. During the webinar, we will discuss the various legal requirements institutions must consider when adopting flexible work arrangements and provide practical insights on how best to operationalize remote and hybrid work policies.
