Formerly a Shareholder at Ogletree Deakins, Ms. Yee has extensive experience providing employment-related counseling and litigation services to management in a wide range of areas, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation; non-compete, non-solicitation, and confidentiality agreements; medical leaves and accommodations; and wage and hour laws.

Ms. Yee, who has been recognized as the exclusive winner of the Client Choice Award for Employment & Benefits in Michigan since 2015, focuses her practice on protecting her clients’ interests in state and federal courts and arbitration; however, she also regularly represents employers in pre-litigation matters and routinely provides advice and counsel on both the legal issues and the practical considerations confronting employers to avoid litigation. She regularly advises management on employee issues, the strategic implementation of policies and procedures and litigation avoidance. Ms. Yee is particularly experienced in legal nuances and business constraints as they relate to enforcing and invalidating restrictive covenants.
At Ogletree, Ms. Yee was Co-Chair of the firm’s Business Resource Group supporting Asian-American attorneys and the Diversity and Inclusion Ambassador for the Detroit office. In 2010, Ms. Yee was part of an effort to revitalize the Michigan Asian Pacific American Bar Association (MAPABA) after several years of inactivity, serving as its Vice President and President. Since stepping down from the executive board in 2016, she continues to lead MAPABA's efforts to connect APA attorneys practicing in Michigan. In addition, she sits on the Labor and Employment Law Committee of the National Pacific American Bar Association.
Ms. Yee received her J.D. from Wayne State University and her B.A., with distinction, from the University of Michigan.
